Pelagic’s September highlights: What’s been making waves? September has been an exciting month full of activity for us, capped off by an incredible experience at the Southampton International Boat Show. It was fantastic to catch up with so many familiar faces and to meet new friends from across the marine industry looking to discover how we’ve reshaped the way marine brands and buyers connect to grow their businesses.

Safety first – day and night As the direct sales team for Exposure Marine, we were proud to facilitate the amazing ‘Safer at Sea’ launch with partners Boatfolk, which operates 11 marinas around the UK, and Pantaenius UK Ltd, Europe’s leading yacht insurance specialists. This collaboration focuses on 24/7 safety on the water, using the innovative Exposure OLAS system – complete with advanced wireless overboard alarms, intelligent personal lighting and engine cut-off switches. The SIBS launch allowed boat dealers and boat manufacturers the chance to see exciting live demos of this ground-breaking safety technology in action

Mustang Survival makes a splash with record sales at SIBS Pelagic’s sales team joined Mustang Survival team on their stand at the show, where they celebrated record sales! Used by the MOD and top brands such as Suzuki, the latest addition to their highly technical waterproof line-up was introduced at the show – the new EP 6.5 Ocean Collection. Revo: Sunglasses that outshine the competition With NASA-based protective technology, Revo Sunglasses have earned their reputation as the best lenses on earth. A packed SIBS calendar! The whole team were at SIBS and enjoyed over 40 meetings with marine businesses, resellers and teams looking to explore working with some of the exceptional brands we represent for resale, uniform, gift with purchase incentives, collaborations and partnerships. To cap off a successful show, we celebrated with a Pelagic team dinner on the final night! The brands we represented at this year’s show: Mustang Survival, OCEANR, Exposure Marine, Elliot Brown Watches, Revo Sunglasses Inc., LifeJacket Skin Protection, MARINEPOOL, plus partnerships with UOCEAN ® 2050, the pioneering waterways clean-up project from charity, The Vayyu Foundation.
